  24. upon any attempt to quantify the capabilities of the observer.
  25. Again, let's stop denegrating people because they see something they can't 
  26. explain. If "UFO research" is an attempt to test the theory that the 
  27. unexplained "things" are alien spacecraft then this is neither more or less  
  28. valid than an attempt to show they are weather balloons.

  42. A fair viewpoint, but you must keep in mind that science and reality have 
  43. done a poor job of dealing with what they have experienced. Perhaps if there 
  44. was less use of "blindly" and words like that they would be more inclined to 
  45. listen to scientific opinions....

  58. they came to be motivated to make up such a tale? If so, I'll credit your 
  59. viewpoint, otherwise you are making an assumption based upon your conclusion 
  60. that things like this don't happen, rather than showing that the story is 
  61. fake and therefore concluding it didn't happen.
